Hi, I'm Jim Berglund. I joined RE/MAX Mountain View about 4 years ago and joined RE/MAX about 5 years ago. One of the people that I went to basic training with became a very very good friend. He started up with RE/MAX Mountain View and spoke so highly of it that I had to come over and take a look. So, I got an interview with Lowell Martens, the broker. Lowell was just a great guy. I sat down with him and it felt like I had known him for all of my life. He's friendly, he listens and he's got a great sense of humour. He never tried to talk me into anything. As a matter of fact, he just made life easy.
Moving over to RE/MAX Mountain View, the second thing was really the confidence that I had in Lowell. The third thing was the education that I had heard about and I think that RE/MAX Mountain View is unique in this respect. We've got probably the best associate Broker, in the world, as far as RE/MAX is concerned. He even won the prize for that. But, Camil Morley is just a great guy and makes sure that everybody gets a great chance at education.
He also has great connections in CREB® and in AREA and RECA So, with his connections and with Lowell's connections, they regularly bring in some of the top people in their fields to tell us about business practice, when we want to know what's going on in the marketplace, he brings in the person in charge of that and we get great presentations. and that happens on a regular basis.
Once again, I've never had to phone up, in an emergency situation and ask somebody a question where they didn't bend over backwards to get me the answer that I needed. So, with things like this going forward, I feel that I made a really great decision of going to RE/MAX when I first got out of training, but the best decision I would have made was going with RE/MAX Mountain View.
